Brooklyn College Subscription Resource Login Required

Please be aware that from 8:30 PM to 9:00 PM on a daily basis services may be briefly interrupted or unavailable due to maintenance.

Enter your Brooklyn College email ID and password to access subscription electronic databases from off-campus.

Enter your BC email ID: See * below
Enter your BC email password:

* Your email ID is the information before the "@" symbol in your BC email address.

Students: You can get your Brooklyn College student email ID and password online at the BC WebCentral Portal <http://portal.brooklyn.edu/>. In the "My Info" tab you will find your student email ID. (It is made up of 2 letters and 4 numbers.) Your email password is either:
  • the month and day of your birthday plus the last 5 digits of your student ID number (SSN) — MMDDSSSSS format — if you enrolled in the College starting Summer 2008 or later,
    OR
  • your 9-digit student ID (SS) number, if you enrolled in the College in Spring 2008 or earlier
Faculty & Staff: If you do not have a BC email account, you may download the email application at: http://infotech.brooklyn.cuny.edu/pdf/emailapp.pdf. (You may need to download the free Adobe Acrobat Reader to open that file.)

Experiencing Technical Difficulties?

If you cannot get past the login screen, even if you know you're entering the correct BC email ID and password, you've probably been locked out of the EZ-Proxy server. This is common if you attempt to log in unsuccessfully too many times. In this situation, please contact the ITS Helpdesk by calling (718) 677-6180 or emailing helpdesk@brooklyn.cuny.edu. (Please note that the Helpdesk's regular hours of operation are 9 AM to 5 PM on Mondays through Fridays.)

Alternatively, you may access some databases using the barcode on the back of your CUNY ID card. Be aware, however, that you will not have as much full-text access as when logging in with your BC email ID and password. Therefore, make sure to still contact the ITS Helpdesk.
